Pokemon Oreos Just Released, and We’ve Gotta Catch ‘Em All

The limited-edition Pokemon Oreos are every '90s kid's dream come true.

If you’d thought you’d seen everything when it came to Oreos—just kidding, there’s no way that’s going to happen. This year alone, the Nabsico has treated us to Rainbow Oreos, Tiramisu Oreos, Team USA Oreos and even Apple Cider Donut Oreos.

Well, they’re not done yet. In a move that’s sure to thrill every ’90s kid, you can now buy Pokemon Oreos!

Pokemon Oreos Are a Collector’s Item

The Pokemon Oreos are, obviously, limited edition—but that’s not all. The cookies are embossed with iconic Pokemon like Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, but you’ll have to buy more than one package to get all 16.

Trainers, get ready to snack—you’ll have to go through a lot of Oreos to catch ’em all!

Each package of Oreos is filled at random, so there’s no guarantee you’ll find all 16 designs in one. Plus, just like the original Pokemon, some designs are rarer than others. The hardest to find is reportedly Mew, who is embossed on an incredibly limited number of cookies.

When Can I Get ‘Em?

Pokemon Oreos will be available at retailers nationwide starting September 13, 2021 as long as supplies last. You can also preorder the Oreos at Walmart. We predict that all the kids (and let’s be honest, most adults) will be buying them up as soon as they come in, so you’d better make sure to get your hands on a pack ASAP.
