If there’s one iconic menu item at Wendy’s, it’s the Frosty. The Wendy’s Frosty has been winning over customers since its arrival in 1969 and the brand has since experimented with expanding its flavor selection beyond the classic chocolate.
In 2006, Wendy’s introduced the Vanilla Frosty. Other recent Frosty flavors include Pumpkin Spice, Strawberry and Caramel Apple—which has only been available in Canada so far.
You may have enjoyed a Pumpkin Spice Frosty or two since its launch, but it looks like Wendy’s Peppermint Frosty will replace it. So whether you’re a Frosty and fries person, use a spoon or prefer to sip your Frosty, you’ll want to know all about the new seasonal Frosty.
All About the Wendy’s Peppermint Frosty
Wendy’s released its Peppermint Frosty for a limited time nationwide on November 14.
This fast-food milkshake combines bursts of refreshing peppermint with the classic thick and creamy Frosty that Wendy’s fans know and love. In a press release, Wendy’s promises that “each spoonful evokes a sweet snowy winter wonderland of flavor.”
What about the Vanilla Frosty?
The new Peppermint Frosty is served alongside the Chocolate Frosty, which means the Vanilla Frosty won’t be around this holiday season. Although it’s unclear what date fans can expect the Vanilla darling to come back, hopefully, we’ll see it return within the first few months of the new year.
