It’s the most wonderful time of the year—almost. Every major brand is gearing up for the holiday season, and some festive items have already made their way into stores. Coffee-Mate is sweetening up your morning brew with Dark Chocolate Peppermint creamer, and Aldi just released its lineup of Advent calendars.
But what’s missing here? Cookies! Nestle is kicking off Christmas right with Grinch cookie dough as green as the grouch, himself. Here’s just what to dunk during your Christmas movie marathon this year.
Even the Grinch Would Love This Treat
The Grinch is one of our all-time favorite Christmas movies, so this cookie dough is a holiday miracle. The dough bakes into scrumptious, bright green sugar cookies made for a tall glass of milk. In theme with the story we all know and love, the Grinch cookie dough features an adorable red candy heart that brings the Dr. Seuss character to life. It’s the perfect thing to bake with the kiddos (or just yourself) this year.
Every package comes with enough for twenty cookies, but sadly, you can’t dine on the uncooked dough. The cookies don’t include artificial flavors or preservatives, so you can enjoy the natural taste of the holiday season.
Keep a Lookout During Your Grocery Run
Before you hop in the sleigh and head to your nearest grocery store, we should add the Grinch cookie dough isn’t out until later in October. There’s no official date yet, but we imagine the cookies will show up sometime toward the middle of the month. You’ll find the dough at most major retailers, like Walmart, Target and Kroger for $2.99 per package.
If you’re a super saver, keep an eye out for these just after the holiday season, then snatch them up for a discounted price. We have a feeling the wait will be worth it.
