Plus, she has the tea on new flavors from natural bliss coffee creamers.

Actress Meghann Fahy is the textbook definition of booked and busy. She became a quick favorite playing Sutton in cult-fave sitcom The Bold Type before her breakout roles in shows like The White Lotus and Sirens. In a recent episode of Amy Poehler’s podcast Good Hang, Mariska Hargitay name-dropped Meghann as one of the most talented guest stars that’s ever appeared on Law & Order: SVU.

Meghann’s next project is starring opposite Penn Badgley in a film adaptation of the popular romance novel, You Deserve Each Other. Can you think of two people more perfect for sparring against each other in this lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers plot?

I had a chance to chat with Meghann ahead of all the fun things she has coming out in theaters and on streaming this year. She’s currently partnering with natural bliss coffee creamers to promote the brand’s fun new High Creamer & Coffee kit that celebrates a classic high tea service. This is a fun launch for anyone who has been obsessively re-watching Bridgerton—aka me!

Meghann shared her go-to coffee order and favorite creamer flavor, and she even weighed in on how particular the English are about their tea.

Morning Routines and Coffee Rituals with Meghann Fahy

Taste of Home: What does your morning routine look like?

Meghann Fahy: Over the years of being an actor—traveling a ton and not being at home a lot—having a ritual in the morning has become really important. It’s so easy to wake up and just start rushing around. But just taking 10 minutes to sip my coffee in silence makes a huge difference. So I’m really hoping to encourage everybody else to try to take back some of their time in the morning and enjoy it the way that I do.

TOH: When did you first start drinking coffee?

MF: I sort of started drinking coffee later than most people. When I was in my early 20s, I didn’t really have much of a tolerance for caffeine. I really had to work my way up to it. Now I’m a one-coffee-a-day girl. I think that’s why it’s so special to me, and why having the perfect creamer is so important. I’m huge on iced coffee; that’s really the only kind of coffee that I drink.

TOH: I do think creamer is even more important in iced coffee than hot coffee because it’s like, the whole vibe.

MF: Agreed. It’s like, not even just the taste—it’s also the color!

On High Tea Service

TOH: Can you tell me more about your partnership with natural bliss?

MF: I’ve been a fan of the brand even before this opportunity arose, so it just really felt authentic. I mean, I love that there’s only four ingredients in these creamers. I have tried so many creamers through the years, but natural bliss is always in my fridge. My go-to is vanilla because, in iced coffee, it tastes like vanilla ice cream to me.

TOH: I have to know, when you’re at a high tea service, what goodies are you looking forward to the most?

MF: I love the little tea sandwiches. They’re perfect little bites. My boyfriend is English, so I feel like my knowledge of tea in general has become really elevated. And when I drink tea, I put creamer in that too.

TOH: I feel like the English have really strong opinions on putting creamer into tea.

MF: It’s true, and also just the way that tea is made in general. I thought it was as simple as throwing a tea bag in some hot water, and it’s really not! So I don’t make tea for anybody in my boyfriend’s family when I go over there because I don’t think they want the tea that I can make! But when I’m home, I brew my tea for a couple minutes, I put a little creamer in, and I’m off.
