It’s about that time of year when every street, building and person bursts with seasonal spirit. Garland, bright lights and giant snowflakes have already started dotting my town like sparkling ornaments. Now, I must say—walking into a place like McDonald’s that’s decked out in festive decorations makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside.

I normally frequent my Mickey D’s establishment for Chicken McNuggets and irresistible fries, but there’s one more item to add to my order right now: McDonald’s Holiday Pie.

What’s in a McDonald’s Holiday Pie?

If you’ve ever had a McDonald’s Apple Pie, you’ll be familiar with the shape. The Holiday Pie features a sweet, smooth custard wrapped in a flaky, buttery crust topped with glaze and festive sprinkles. The sight is sure to remind you of a beautiful array of colorful Christmas lights.

For best results, pair this treat with a McDonald’s Eggnog Shake or velvety cup of hot chocolate.

When is McDonald’s Holiday Pie coming back?

According to our fave Instagram foodie @markie_devo, the Holiday Pies have already been spotted at McDonald’s locations in Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Arkansas and a few other states. While the pies are expected to roll out to all locations eventually, they may already be in a location near you right now. Just check your McDonald’s app for updates.

How long will it be available?

The Holiday Pies are normally available from November through December. They’re a limited time item, so make sure to grab ’em before they disappear for another year.
