When you’re inside for a while, there’s nothing quite as comforting as a sit-down with your favorite TV shows. We’ve already watched every episode of The Office and The French Chef, and now we’re moving onto everyone’s favorite childhood classic. We’re spending social distancing with the Ingalls family!
Little House on the Prairie is available right now on Amazon Prime, complete with all nine seasons. Introduce your kiddos to the best of nostalgia, or just refresh your memory with all the laughs and tears that made us feel like a part of the Ingalls clan.
It’s Definitely Worth the Rewatch
Little House on the Prairie started in 1974 and ran for nine years, making a home in our hearts as a timeless classic. (We even made recipes inspired by Little House on the Prairie!) The show follows the plight of the Ingalls family living in Minnesota in the late 1800s, and it’s all based on the Little House books written by the real Laura Ingalls Wilder.
The family we grew up with is officially available on Amazon Prime. You can watch the first episode for free—if you don’t mind the ads—or enjoy the entire series with an Amazon Prime membership. If you’d rather own all the seasons, for anytime watching, you can purchase them for $15 each.

No Membership? No Problem
If you have an Amazon Prime membership, you can watch the Ingalls family all day long. If not, it’s pretty easy to sign up—all you have to do is add the subscription to your account for $13 a month. Amazon Prime also offers a 30-day trial, so you can probably watch the whole series before you have to pay for Prime.
