What do you do when it’s 2:30 a.m. and your pregnancy cravings are at an all-time high? You fix something up for yourself. And that’s exactly what Joanna Gaines, home designer and co-star from hit television show Fixer Upper, decided to do.
Joanna, who’s pregnant with kiddo No. 5, took to Instagram to share her hilarious early morning adventure in her kitchen. The image is of chocolate chip cookies, but those don’t seem to be the only thing she was looking for that morning. Turns out, she was craving a variety of foods so crazy, I’m not sure any normal person could actually stomach it all at once. See for yourself:
Woke up this morning at 2:30 AM and was craving fruity pebbles, a pimento cheese sandwich, chicken spaghetti, deviled eggs, and ranch dressing. Didn’t have any of that so I made myself some cookies. With all the restaurant’s final tastings, the cookbook (yes these cookies are in it!), and this pregnancy-I’m definitely growing at a record rate👌🏽#magnoliatable
Her quick switch from sweet with the Fruity Pebbles to salty and savory, and back to sweet is pregnancy cravings at its finest.
The cookies she made (and posted on her Instagram) are actually going to be in Magnolia Table, a cookbook named after the empire she has built with her husband, Chip. Magnolia is a haven for anyone interested in home decor and design, located in Waco, Texas. There’s even a Magnolia magazine, and Joanna writes a blog.
Yes, she may be a home decor maven, but she also has quite a bit to say about cooking as well. But we may just stay away from that crazy list of foods she was craving. Sorry, Joanna…but our stomachs may not be able to handle it.
