The Hacks star likes her snacks both sweet and salty.
Jean Smart Buys Her Favorite Snack at CVS
Jean Smart is one of the most prolific actors working today with countless TV and film credits to her name. Oh, and did I mention that she’s won seven Emmy awards? Most recently, she’s been delighting audiences in the dark comedy Hacks. She stars as a legendary comic who mentors a young, up-and-coming writer. Obviously, hijinks ensue. The series was recently renewed for a fifth season.
Naturally, she spends a lot of time on set. As always, I’m interested in what the stars are eating, so you can imagine my excitement when I learned about not one but two of Jean Smart’s favorite snacks. And the best part? She buys them at CVS.
What is Jean Smart’s favorite snack?
In a recent interview with The Strategist, Jean Smart lists eight things that she can’t live without, and two of them are food items. The first is Lesser Evil Himalayan Pink Salt Popcorn. “I live alone, so I do eat popcorn in bed,” she says in the interview. “To me, this is hands down the best prepopped packaged popcorn that you can get.”
It’s unclear if she picks that up at the grocery store or has it delivered, but she’s much more specific about where she gets her other favorite snack, SkinnyDipped Dark Chocolate Cocoa Almonds.
“I recently discovered these because I’m diabetic. I’m always having to watch my sugar,” she says. “These are so good. They have just enough dark chocolate on them, but they’re just as good as the ones that are really coated in a lot of chocolate.” Then she continues, saying, “I picked them up at CVS.”
Firstly, could you imagine casually running into Jean Smart at CVS? I would have a total fangirl moment next to the supplements and protein shakes. Secondly, I love that even an award-winning actor also likes to peruse the aisles of her local CVS looking for snacks. I’ve lost count of how many random snacks I’ve picked out while I wait for a prescription to be ready. Finally, imagine Jean Smart leaving CVS with one of those comically long receipts. Stars, they’re just like us!
