You might be tempted by all of the great cocktails and fruity drinks that keep popping up, like Jose Cuervo’s Peach Lemonade Margarita or Malibu’s canned cocktails. But sometimes, it’s nice to go back to basic mixed drinks. It’s not hard to mix Jack Daniel’s with a splash of Coca-Cola, but now you can even skip that step, because Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola are teaming up to mix their signature drinks into one readymade drink.
Don’t forget to check out the rest of our canned cocktail picks!
What Is Jack and Coke in a Can?
It’s like a shortcut to whiskey and coke. The new drinks will be called simply “Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola,” and will be made with the signature Tennesse Whiskey and of course, Coca-Cola. Each 350 mL can has only a 5% ABV, which makes it a fantastic summer sipper.
You might be wondering what makes this different from Jack Daniel’s canned cocktails, which features a whiskey and cola flavor. The answer is pretty simple—the cola featured in previous editions isn’t the same as the can of Coke you might pick up at your local store. The packaging for this new offering prominently feature’s Coca-Cola’s logo alongside the Jack Daniel’s logo to highlight the difference.
Where Can I Get It?
There’s no word on when you’ll be able to find this at your local liquor store, but the new cans will be debuting in Mexico at the end of the year. Both regular and zero-sugar versions will be released globally after the debut, but there are no definite dates yet. Keep an eye on the Jack Daniel’s website for updates!
