Hostess Iced Pumpkin Cupcakes Are a Pumpkin Lover’s Dream

Hostess pumpkin cupcakes are the classic lunchbox treat, all dressed up and ready for fall!

This classic Hostess treat is getting a major seasonal upgrade, thanks to the arrival of new Iced Pumpkin Cupcakes. The brand previously released a PSL-inspired cupcake, but this is an all-new release from Hostess, sans the spice.

Find out which PSL was our favorite before you try them all.

Get Ready to FALL in Love

Topped with the icing squiggle you know from the iconic chocolate version of these treats, this new fall-inspired release is a fluffy Hostess pumpkin cupcake topped with vanilla frosting. It’s complete with the sweet inner filling you already know and love.

Not a fan of cupcakes but still looking to indulge in the autumnal eats? Pumpkin lovers can also enjoy Pumpkin Spice Twinkies and Caramel Crunch Donettes this season from Hostess:

The summer weather hasn’t cooled down yet, but that’s not stopping your favorite food brands from getting on the pumpkin (and pumpkin spice) bandwagon! These new Hostess cupcakes join fellow early arrivals to the fall foods lineup, including Pillsbury’s sweet pumpkin cinnamon rolls and orange pumpkin-coated Kit Kat bars, plus the strangely savory pumpkin spice Spam.

See why Halloween may not be on October 31st this year.

Where Can You Buy These Cupcakes?

These cupcakes aren’t listed on the Hostess website just yet, but according to an Instagram comment from the brand, pumpkin fans should check “local grocery/convenience stores” in search for the seasonal sweet treats.

Some eagle-eyed snack fans on Twitter have already found them in Jewel-Osco locations, and we’ve heard they’re at Kroger as well. So keep your eyes peeled on your next grocery run! Next—try your hand at a homemade pumpkin spice latte to fuel your hunt for these fluffy cupcakes.
