We’re always here for a new cookie launch from Oreo. In addition to the classics, the world’s most popular cookie has treated us to exciting limited edition flavors like Gingerbread, Maple Creme and Java Chip. But now we have really big news from Oreo: gluten-free Oreos are on the way!
When Can I Buy GF Oreos?
You don’t have to wait long to get your hands on gluten-free Oreos. The cookies are schedule to hit store shelves in the U.S. in January 2021. They will be available wherever original Oreos are sold—and they’ll have a similar price point, too.
Snack lovers have been celebrating the announcement on social media. “This is the best news I’ve heard all day,” one excited fan posted. “I never thought I’d see the day, thank you,” another commented. “Oreo, you really are the bomb.” We couldn’t agree more!
What Oreos Will Be Gluten-Free?
There will be two new gluten-free Oreos available: the classic Oreo cookie and the Double Stuf variety. Both of the new gluten-free cookies have been approved and certified by the Gluten Intolerance Group of North America.
The best part? They will be a permanent addition to the product line! Oreo promises more details as we get closer to 2021, like the list of ingredients and nutritional breakdowns. But what we really want to know is what they taste like.
We’ll let you know as soon as we’re able to give them a taste test. We’re already counting down the days.
