Unfortunately, the tightly covered containers that help keep doughnuts fresh also keep moisture locked in, which enhances the absorption of the icing by the doughnuts. Try glazing only those doughnuts that will be eaten that day. Any remaining doughnuts can be frozen in a resealable plastic freezer bag. To reheat, place the frozen doughnuts on an ungreased baking sheet. Cover doughnuts lightly with foil and heat at 350° for 10-15 minutes or until heated through. Glaze while warm.
