Costco Is Selling a GIANT Bottle of Sangria for Only $6.99

If you like red wine, you're going to love this Costco sangria.

If you shop at Costco—and why wouldn’t you?—you’re probably familiar with the house brand Kirkland. It’s an open secret that national brands are hiding under the Kirkland umbrella. The only difference? Costco’s versions are a bargain!

In the past, we’ve purchased ready-to-drink Kirkland margaritas at Costco, and no regrets there. Costco is the place to stock up on all your beverage needs, after all. But we recently discovered another gem hiding in plain sight: Costco sangria.

You’re Going to Want to Stock Up

Kirkland Classic Red Sangria isn’t exactly new, but there is renewed interest thanks to an Instagram post from @unamunakain. Based on the comments, it’s already a hit. Look at how beautiful it looks in a pitcher!

Each bottle is 6% ABV and comes in at a hefty 1.5 liters, which is the same as two bottles of wine. Even better, one bottle retails for just $6.99—you won’t find a better deal anywhere else. For that price, you can buy two bottles just to have on hand for any impromptu backyard gatherings.

How to Drink Sangria This Summer

Sangria is the perfect warm weather sipper, whether you prefer to drink it on ice or steep the wine in a pitcher with cut fruit. To add fruit, we recommend citrus, stone fruit and tropical fruit, like pineapple. If you prefer softer fruit, like berries or melon, add them just before serving so they don’t get too mushy. Don’t forget a splash of sparkling water or soda for extra fizz.

Of course, you can also make your own sangria at home. The basic formula is wine + spirits + fruit. If you like red sangria, we recommend using zinfandel, lambrusco, shiraz, rioja or sangiovese, but any dry red wine will do. Cheers!
