It doesn’t get much more romantic than this classic crème brûlée, with a crisp layer of caramelized sugar barely concealing the smooth custard below. But if you could bring white chocolate into the mix, then you’d have a Valentine’s Day masterpiece.
Your favorite chocolate-maker has made it happen!
It’s a white chocolate crème brûlée dream come true
Ghirardelli just introduced its latest creation for Valentine’s Day: White Chocolate Crème Brûlée Squares. Each heart-strewn bag contains 10 squares of Ghirardelli’s melt-in-your mouth white chocolate, generously studded with crunchy toffee-like bits that taste convincingly like crème brûlée. The squares have the slightest hint of cinnamon, too. Each 13/16″ square is individually wrapped in pretty pink foil, strewn, of course, with more hearts.
Where can you get them?
The White Chocolate Crème Brûlée Squares are available exclusively at Target for $4.49. You can also find the Ghirardelli squares—at a more expensive price—on Amazon.
Here’s what folks are saying…
One happy Target customer says they’re “very rich,” with the ideal balance between white chocolate and “brûlée.” Sounds good to us! People on Twitter seem to agree:
Ok but Ghirardelli’s crème brûlée white chocolate has to be the greatest thing about valentines season!!

The ultimate compliment comes from Twitter user @andalbrask, who is hoping Ghirardelli will consider making these treats year round:
@LoveGhirardelli please tell the good people at ghirardelli inc to keep making white chocolate crème brûlée squares because they’re delicious

Bonus: They meet Target’s “Simple Ingredients” standard
“Simple Ingredients” means a product has no synthetic flavors, no synthetic colors, no synthetic preservatives, no synthetic sweeteners, no high fructose corn syrup and no synthetic trans fat. Ghirardelli’s new treat checks all the boxes.
Sounds like the perfect Valentine’s Day gift!
