‘Game of Thrones’ Oreos Have Arrived for the Season 8 Premiere!
Stock up on your GoT Oreos, because season 8 is right around the corner.
The folks at Oreo might be the biggest “Game of Thrones” fans ever, but that doesn’t mean you can’t bear the seal of House Targaryen, too. Just in time for the season 8 premiere of GoT, the sandwich cookie giant has launched the most binge-worthy snack of all time.
“Game of Thrones” Oreos are officially here, and we’re craving nothing else!
They’re the Best in Westeros
If you’ve been keeping up with Oreo, you’ll know they’ve been teasing these themed treats for a while now. “Game of Thrones” Oreos first debuted back in February, and superfans have been scrambling to get their hands on them since.
What makes them special? Instead of just coming in a pretty package, the “Game of Thrones” Oreos are decorated with your favorite houses. Take a close look and you’ll see all the contenders in the battle for the Iron Throne—Targaryen, Lannister and Stark. Even the razor-sharp cheekbones of a White Walker can be found etched into a crumbly cocoa cookie. (And who doesn’t want to bite into the face of a White Walker?)
Where to Find Them
“Game of Thrones” Oreos will officially be hitting shelves on April 8. (That’s less than a week before the big day!) You should be able to find them at the standard major retailers, including Target and Amazon.
The special-edition Oreos are only around for a limited time, so make sure to stock up as soon as you spot ’em.
Don’t Forget to Hashtag!
Superfans who wave their house flag high are encouraged to hashtag #ForTheThrone and #GameOfCookies during the premiere. Rumor has it Oreo will be rewarding those who stand out with treats throughout the season. What’s the best way to get in their good graces? Maybe share their recreation of the GoT theme, made entirely with almost 3,000 Oreos.
Don’t forget to tune in on April 14 for the series’ thrilling conclusion.
