If there’s one thing ’90s kids really love, it’s the snacks we grew up with. Luckily, brands are really good at cashing in on food nostalgia, and I’m not complaining! In the last few years, we’ve seen the return of ’90s treats like Oreo Cakesters, Dunkaroos and Viennetta ice cream.

Of course, there’s nothing we’re more attached to than the cereals we downed every morning before school. And luckily, we hear another beloved classic is back in that category: Kellogg’s cereal straws!

What Do I Need to Know About the Kellogg’s Cereal Straws?

Kellogg’s was way ahead of its time with crunchy cereal straws. They made drinking a glass of milk so much more fun. And 12 years after being discontinued, the cereal giant finally brought back the best flavors—Froot Loops and Cocoa Krispies cereal straws!

If you’re a fan of the fruity taste of colorful Froot Loops or the chocolaty goodness of Cocoa Krispies, you’re in luck. For those who are just discovering these awesome straw alternatives, they’re perfect for infusing your kid’s (or your) glass of morning milk with some cereal-flavored goodness, or for drinking the last few spoonfuls of milk from your cereal bowl.

When Can I Buy Cereal Straws?

The cereal straws came back in October 2021 and are currently available at retailers nationwide. You can get an 18-pack at Walmart or on Amazon, and the price currently ranges between $15 and $25. Kellogg’s has confirmed that these straws are part of its permanent lineup, so you can enjoy cereal straw goodness all year long!

If we’re lucky, we might see other flavors like Apple Jacks and Cocoa Pops back on shelves soon, too. And if you’re nostalgic for ’90s fast-food flavors, McDonald’s brought Hi-C orange back to its menu.
