The Wendy’s Frosty Key Tag promotion has made a 2023 comeback. The nationwide deal returns with the same, straightforward, premise: Wendy’s lovers who buy a Key Tag for $2 can pick up a free Jr. Frosty with any purchase from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 of 2023.
For an added bonus, the deal doesn’t just get you a free Jr. Frosty per day. Proceeds of every Key Tag go to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. The Wendy’s founder’s Foundation works to help, “find permanent, loving families for children in foster care.”
Here’s How You Can Get Your Wendy’s Key Tag
To solidify your 2023 Frosty lineup, you can purchase a Frosty Key Tag at Wendy’s, through the Wendy’s mobile app, or through the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption website.
According to an official Wendy’s press release, those in a Wendy’s restaurant can “simply ask to add a Frosty Key Tag when placing an order.” For those who purchase the tag through the app, it “can be applied to mobile orders or added to their Wendy’s Rewards card for in-restaurant scanning.”
And for those with lots of Wendy’s lovers in their life, they may want to purchase their tag—or tags—through the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption website. Through the website, the tags can be purchased in bulk “for the ultimate stocking stuffer,” the Wendy’s team writes. What can be better than the gift of a free Frosty?
How Long Does the Deal Last?
The tag can be purchased anytime now through Jan. 29, 2023. But if you’re interested, you better hurry, as the tags are only available while supplies last! In all seriousness, Wendy’s corporate writes that the tags are the ultimate “cool deal to warm your heart.”
So before picking up your next Peppermint Frosty to get into that holiday spirit, make sure to pick up a key tag for some frozen deliciousness and a good cause.
