Disney’s New Watermelon Dole Whip Is Served in an ACTUAL Slice of Watermelon

Watermelon Dole Whip arrived just in time for summer!

If you’ve ever been to Walt Disney World or Disneyland, you’re familiar with Dole Whip. The famous pineapple soft serve is a popular treat at Disney parks, but it can also be found at cafes, fairs and even in your own kitchen with this recipe for homemade Dole Whip.

The classic Dole Whip is hard to top. The creamy pineapple dessert is unmistakable, and a must-try for any Disney enthusiast—it’s crazy popular for a reason, right? But if you’re always looking for the newest thing in Disney’s snack lineup, you need to get in line for the company’s newest release—watermelon Dole Whip.

What’s in the Watermelon Dole Whip?

According to Disney, it looks like you can never have too much watermelon.

You’ll get bites of both fresh and frozen fruit if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on this Dole Whip. The pink soft serve not only tastes like watermelon, but it’s served inside an actual slice of watermelon and topped with chocolate chips to imitate the little black seeds we always eat around. Don’t worry, these ones are edible!

Disney, sticking with the watermelon theme, also released another variation of the sweet snack—a Dole Whip watermelon parfait with key lime custard. The parfait will include a layer of green key lime custard, a generous layer of watermelon soft serve, a chocolate chip topping and a garnish of real watermelon in the shape of Mickey Mouse. Disney offered a similar watermelon parfait dessert back in January, and decided to bring it back for the summer—and we’re so glad they did.

Where Can I Get it?

You can find watermelon Dole Whip where the pineapple Dole Whip is sold—at Disney Springs’ Marketplace Snacks. You can find all kinds Dole Whip products here, like pineapple floats, nonalcoholic pina coladas and Dole Whip nachos—waffle cone chips topped with the frozen puree, mango boba pearls, pineapple, strawberry sauce, whipped cream and sprinkles.

As of May 26, watermelon Dole Whip is now a part of the Marketplace Snacks menu! But while the watermelon Dole Whip is sure to be a popular refreshment, it won’t be around forever. Disney shared that the frozen treat would only be available for a limited time.

If you can’t make it to Disney in time to try the watermelon Dole Whip, there are still plenty of watermelon recipes to make at home. Seriously, this list will last you all summer long!
