GroupWatch Is the New Disney+ Feature That Lets You Watch with Your Friends
Indulging in your favorite nostalgic flicks is even better with friends and Disney+ GroupWatch.
It’s no secret that we totally love Disney and everything they have to offer. From their oh-so-cute 2020 holiday merchandise to their incredible array of delicious food available on the fall Disney menu, the reasons seem endless! Not only that, but Disney+ has become the focal point of all things nostalgic while we’ve been quarantining in our homes.
If you weren’t able to take advantage of the Disney+ free trial, trust us when we say it’s totally worth the price. And now, they’ve added a feature we are SO in love with!
Here’s Your New Favorite Hangout
Streaming services have taken audio and visual media by storm, and we’d be lying if we said we didn’t absolutely love the convenience. As much fun as it was collecting every movie as it came out on VHS, DVD or Blu-Ray, I have to say my wallet is much happier now. Netflix can even predict what show we should watch next with their shuffle feature.
So what’s Disney+ Groupwatch, you ask? This nifty new feature—perfect for your virtual get-together—allows parties of up to six people to watch and enjoy a movie all at the same time. Of course, to take full advantage of this feature, you and all of your friends will have to have access to your own Disney+ account. It’s a small price to pay for all this convenience, and if you haven’t signed up by now, what are you waiting for?!
Friends + Movies = Magic
Even if you’re not in the same room, you can still communicate with other party members with special emoji comments like “surprised,” “funny” or “sad.” Having even that little bit of interaction makes everything so much sweeter. And don’t worry about fighting over the controls—everyone has the ability to pause and play the movie if they need to!
So, what are you waiting for? Call up your friends, grab some grub (might we suggest these tasty Disney Halloween recipes) and get comfy. How about we start with…The Nightmare Before Christmas?
