Dairy Queen Is Bringing Back Its Popular S’Mores Blizzard This Summer

It’s impossible to count every Blizzard flavor that’s appeared at Dairy Queen since 1985. While Blizzards started with simple flavors (vanilla, chocolate and strawberry), this treat quickly evolved with mix-ins like Heath, Butterfinger and Oreos. To this day, the candy flavors are still available. The Queen likes to keep it classic!
The chain also plays with fun, seasonal flavor combos for its Blizzards. Some appear year after year, like the Peppermint Hot Cocoa Blizzard. Others simply vanish. Fortunately, Dairy Queen knows when a flavor is in dire need of a comeback. That’s why it’s bringing back its S’More’s Blizzard.
What is the S’Mores Blizzard?
When this Blizzard officially debuted in 2013, I was instantly hooked. Full of chocolate chunks, crunchy graham cracker bits and fluffy marshmallow mixed in a sweet whirlwind of vanilla soft serve, nothing else comes close for me (and I’ve tried quite a lot). The info was leaked early by one of our favorite Instagram snack influencers, @snackolator.

Dairy Queen has always been my soft serve go-to, which makes sense since it started in my home state back in 1940. There’s one so close to my childhood home, I used to walk there in the summer with friends. Needless to say, I’ve had my fair share of Blizzards over the years. S’mores still holds up as my absolute hot weather fave.
How long will it be available?
The S’mores Blizzard is set to arrive in April 2025 as part of the DQ Summer Blizzard Menu. It’s likely to stick around all summer long, so make sure to take frequent trips to get your full S’mores fill. I know I will!
