Ice cream may not be our go-to dessert during the most wonderful time of the year, but Dairy Queen‘s new holiday Blizzard flavors may have us reconsidering. Known for delivering delicious flavored ice cream Blizzards every season, DQ recently announced the release of two holiday-themed flavors for customers to enjoy—and you are not going to want to miss out on these sweet treats this holiday season!
What Are Dairy Queen’s Holiday Blizzards?
The two DQ Blizzards this year include one new flavor and one returning fan favorite to the DQ menu.
- Frosted Sugar Cookie Blizzard Treat: This new treat is essentially your favorite holiday cookie reimagined in every creamy, sugary bit. Blended together with soft sugar cookie pieces, icing, and festive sprinkles, the Frosted Sugar Cookie Blizzard will even have Santa jealous of your milk-and-cookie treat.
- Candy Cane Chill Blizzard Treat: Back by popular demand, the Candy Can Chill is a “festive spin on a candy cane classic” according to DQ’s press release. Blended with DQ’s world-famous soft serve, this Blizzard includes candy cane pieces and choco chunks.
When Can I Get Them?
Thankfully, customers don’t have to wait! Dairy Queen will be offering these new holiday Blizzard treats throughout the month of December 2022. While you’re there, make sure you try their frozen hot chocolate, too.
But don’t wait too long! Dairy Queen is known for introducing new flavors each month and taking them off the menu to make room for other flavors in future months. So be sure to stop by your local DQ spot to try these festive holiday Blizzards before they ship off at the end of the season with Santa in his sleigh.
