Costco Just Added Raspberry Lemon Muffins to Its Bakery—and They’re Delicious

The new Costco muffins are worth waking up for.

No matter why you choose to stock up at Costco, we’re convinced that the Costco bakery really makes a membership worth it. The bakery has always been reliable—especially for enormous pies—but lately they’ve been knocking it out of the park with brand-new gems, like fudgy brownies.

The latest showstopper to come out of Costco’s ovens is raspberry lemon muffins, and we can’t wait to bring them home. Yum!

What Are These Muffins Like?

Everyone loves Costco muffins because they’re enormous, always moist and perfect for a sweet snack or breakfast. If you’ve ever had a six-pack of almond poppy seed or double chocolate chip, you’ll know what we mean.

Instagrammers like @costcohotfinds have been sharing this latest sweet addition to Costco’s lineup. It’s not that often a new flavor is introduced, which is why the prospect of muffins bursting with berries and citrus and drizzled with glaze is exciting.

The commenters report that these new muffins taste like lemon pound cake with a little added tartness from the raspberries, and at least one person compared them to Fruity Pebbles, which is a good thing in our book.

How Long Will They Be at Costco?

They’re already available in stores around the country (though they haven’t shown up online yet) and they don’t appear to be a limited edition offering. In other words, you should have plenty of time to score a tray for yourself.

The muffins are being sold for $7.99 per dozen, and the icing on the cake (or is that muffin?) is that these baked goods are part of the mix ‘n’ match dozen from the bakery, which means that for less than eight bucks you can stock up on other varieties, too.
