Coke and Sprite Are Bringing Us Two New Spicy Holiday Flavors
Coke and Sprite are already in the holiday spirit with these new flavors.
We’ve seen plenty of great new soda flavors hitting shelves this year. Already, we’ve gotten our hands on Orange Vanilla Coke—the first new Coke flavor in over a decade—and Dark Berry Dr. Pepper—Dr. Pepper’s first addition in five years. Coke isn’t calling it quits yet, though, and now Sprite is jumping on the bandwagon, too. Two new holiday flavors have just been confirmed, and they’re as sweet as they are spicy.
This Christmas, get a taste of the holiday season with Cinnamon Coca-Cola and Winter Spiced Cranberry Sprite.
Your New Favorite Flavors
Just after they were officially announced in a press release by Coke and Sprite, the flavors made their debut on Instagram. @CandyHunting posted the first images of Cinnamon Coke and Winter Spiced Cranberry Sprite back-to-back, and soda fans were more than a little excited to get a taste of these spicy seasonal flavors.
Cinnamon Coke brings together the warmth of cinnamon with the classic citrus of original Coca-Cola. The flavor was first introduced in the UK last year, and soda lovers went absolutely wild for it. In the UK, it’s sold exclusively in its Coke Zero form, but rumor has it Cinnamon Coke will be available in regular and Zero varieties here in the U.S.
Since it’s a brand-new flavor, there aren’t too many tasting notes for Winter Spiced Cranberry Sprite. What we do know is the new flavor will be serving up the sweet tartness of cranberry with a kick of cinnamon, making for one of the best holiday bevvies we could ask for.
Here’s When (and Where) to Snag a Pack
Both flavors will be in stores this winter, just in time for the holidays. While you may have to wait to crack open a can of Cinnamon Coke, Winter Spiced Cranberry Sprite has already been spotted on grocery delivery apps like Instacart. If they’re not available in your area just yet, keep an eye out at your local grocery store or any major retailer. While this hasn’t been officially confirmed, we bet you’ll find these flavors at Walmart and Target if nowhere else. Either way, you’ll want to move quickly, because we have a feeling these two won’t be around for long.
