Pop-Tarts Just Brought Back This Flavor By Popular Demand

If you’re a football fan, the Pop-Tarts Bowl may already be on your schedule. For those of you who aren’t familiar, the Pop-Tarts Bowl (previously known as the Cheez-It Bowl and many other names) is an annual college football bowl game.
In 2023, Pop-Tarts took over naming rights for the bowl and introduced Frosted Strawberry, its first “edible” mascot. The mascot even disappeared into a life-size toaster after the game! Now, for the 2024 bowl, Pop-Tarts is bringing in three different flavors to fight for the right to be the top tart: Frosted Wild Berry, Frosted Hot Fudge Sundae and a much-loved flavor from the past.
What is the returning Pop-Tarts flavor?
It’s Frosted Cinnamon Roll! If that sounds familiar, it should. The flavor was on the shelves for a limited time before it was discontinued back in 2022 and instead used for Pop-Tarts Bites. The filling tastes just like cinnamon rolls, and the white frosting feels like a classic cinnamon roll icing. Many of us were sad to see this cozy flavor disappear from shelves.
Now, Frosted Cinnamon Roll has been brought back out of the vault for the upcoming Pop-Tarts Bowl! Up against Frosted Wild Berry and Frosted Hot Fudge Sundae, Frosted Cinnamon Roll will have to compete for the honor of being the next mascot.

You can vote for the Pop-Tarts flavor you’d like to see eaten at the end of the bowl, and maybe even win a piece of the mascot for yourself. Lucky for us, this competition means we’ll be able to grab our own box of Frosted Cinnamon Roll Pop-Tarts again. Hallelujah!
In the meantime, there are always off-brand Pop-Tarts to snack on, or for the truly ambitious, homemade Pop-Tarts.
When do Frosted Cinnamon Roll Pop-Tarts drop?
This flavor is currently available in the Pop-Tarts shop for $5.99 a box. You can also find boxes in participating stores across the country. The Pop-Tart Bowl happens on December 28, 2024, so it’s possible they may disappear before the year is done. Just make sure you grab a box (or 10) before the flavor rolls out of our lives again!
