You already love the juicy chicken sandwich at your local Chick-fil-A. If all goes well, you’ll soon be able to order your favorite drink there, too. The company recently announced on its blog that a few stores are testing a mocha cold brew, which may be added to menus nationwide in the future.
What’s in the Mocha Cream Cold Brew?
According to Chick-fil-A, the Mocha Cream Cold Brew has a swirl of cold-brewed coffee, sweetened cream and chocolate-flavored syrup. Yes, yes and yes, right?! The beverage comes in small and large, with prices starting at $2.69.
Health-wise, think of this beverage as a special treat: the small serving has 300 calories, while the large clocks in at 390. Here’s the healthiest food you can order at Chick-fil-A (and a bunch of other chains).
Want to Be a Part of the—Ahem—Research?
Since it’s still in the testing phase, there are just a couple places where customers will get to make their taste buds heard: Denver, Colorado, and Cheyenne, Wyoming. But you’ll need to hurry, because the Mocha Cream Cold Brew is only available between now and November 9.
(Cold brew may not be on your local Chick-fil-A’s secret menu, but a couple of other drinks sure are.)
When Will We Know if the Mocha Cream Cold Brew Is a Go?
That’s TBD. Unfortunately, we’ll just have to wait and see. In addition to the Mocha Cream Cold Brew, Chick-fil-A is also trying out some seasonal tea lemonades, so once the test period is over, staffers will dig into the customer feedback to see what the winners are. We can’t imagine any combo of chocolate, coffee and cream being anything but a winner, but we’ll still need to sit tight for the final word. Fingers crossed!
No doubt this announcement has you craving a creamy coffee beverage, so if you don’t live in Denver or Cheyenne, we’ve got you covered.
