Burger King is about to become the biggest dill in fast food.

Burger King Just Dropped a Menu Item That No One Expected

The first Burger King popped up in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1954, with the Whopper making its debut three years later. Since then, the chain has rivaled McDonald’s and other giants on its road to fast-food stardom. Burger King has been a staple for my family since before I could walk. When I was a kid, BK even helped promote the release of Shrek with a “Choose the Ooze!” campaign that included green ketchup. I miss those days.
The King is still around doing big things, and we’re here for them. In the past month, Burger King has dropped a massive ranch dip cup and an Advent calendar for the holidays. Now, the menu has a brand-new side that’s sure to be a huge dill.
Hello, Burger King Pickle Fries
When I tell you I was over the moon about this new addition, I mean it! Pickles, especially fried pickles, have been a gargantuan love for me for as long as I can remember. Don’t like pickles? I’ll eat all the ones you don’t want—that’s a fact! To match its Mexican Street Corn Whopper, Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper and Fried Pickle Ranch Whoppers, BK dropped this incredible side that demands to be tasted. It’s perfect for dipping into Hidden Valley Ranch for the ultimate combination.
Not quite spears and not the chips you’re used to, Burger King’s thinly sliced dill pickles are dipped in a delicious batter and fried to perfection. The crispy, salty outside and slightly sour inside is an elite combo. The second I tasted one, I had to keep reaching into the bag for more. Their shape is similar to that of regular fries and BK’s Chicken Fries, another fast-food winner. As far as a new side goes, you know I’m giving these five stars. Thank you for blessing us, Burger King. You know how to make a girl happy.
