Valentine’s Day is the season of love, but there’s no shame in rolling solo. (Can anyone say Galentine’s Day party?) While other brands are focusing on the best gifts for your sweetheart, like beef jerky bouquets and Lava Cake Kisses, Burger King is taking a different route.
For 2020, Burger King is rewarding you for your old flames. All you have to do is turn in a picture of your ex, and you’ll earn yourself a free Whopper. It’s how Burger King says “I love you.”
It’s the Best Deal This Valentine’s Day
At select Burger King locations, you can get a free Whopper for sharing your old photos. It’s a pretty great deal if you’re feeling the munchies on the most romantic day of the year and don’t feel like dropping the cash for a cruise through the drive-thru. You’ll get your burger in an official “breakup box,” featuring graphics from the upcoming Harley Quinn movie Birds of Prey.
Burger King teased the promotion on Instagram on February 6, and fans were loving the idea. We have to say we’re loving it, too. (No McDonald’s pun intended.)
Unfortunately, because the Whopper is the heart and soul of Burger King, there are only a handful of locations handing out free burgers this Valentine’s Day. If you live near a major city, you’re in luck. Here’s where to find free Whoppers on the most romantic day of the year:
Boston: 150 Everett Avenue, Chelsea Los Angeles: 545 North Victory Boulevard, Burbank New York: 327 West 42nd Street San Francisco: 35 Powell Street
All of these promotions begin and end on Valentine’s Day, save for the New York location, which will be pushing free burgers through February 16. Burger King is more than happy to keep you company this Valentine’s Day, so don’t miss out. In the meantime, you can always indulge in these boozy Galentine’s Day cocktails that make the day of love all about you and the girls.
