The New Blueberry Muffin Kit Kat Might Be the Tastiest Flavor Yet

When it comes to unique candy flavors, no one does it quite like Kit Kat. The brand offers an incredible number of unique flavors (300 in Japan alone), and the team is always on the lookout for the next great thing. Recently, we’ve been munching on Birthday Cake Kit Kats and, one of my personal favorites, the Dark Chocolate and Strawberry combo that was released for Valentine’s Day. Beyond delicious!
But it’s about time we experienced something new, don’t you think? That’s why we’re so excited about the next release—the Blueberry Muffin Kit Kat.
The Blueberry Muffin Kit Kat Is Here!
If you’re ultra excited like me, it’s for good reason. Blueberry muffins are a staple breakfast food almost everyone loves. Easy, sweet and absolute classics. They’re warmly nostalgic and remind us of the best parts of childhood.
Well, Kit Kat took that fuzzy feeling and absolutely ran with it! The new Blueberry Muffin Kit Kat has that sweet blueberry flavor folded all the way through. It combines notes of both fresh and cooked blueberries, a cake batter-like muffin flavor and real graham cookie pieces.
What Does It Taste Like?
We were lucky enough to sample the new Blueberry Muffin Kit Kat, and right out of the package, we knew this candy bar was going to be good. Each bar offers up a sweet, fruity scent as you peel back the wrapper. The wafers are coated in a pretty, purple-blue coating, making these treats a perfect addition to your Easter basket.
At first taste, you’re treated to the crunchy-crisp texture we know and love from Kit Kat, plus the delicate flavor of a big, bakery-style blueberry muffin. It’s the mashup we never knew we needed!
One thing to note, though, is that the Blueberry Muffin Kit Kat flavor is extremely sweet. We found it difficult to eat more than a few bites in one sitting. But just like its namesake, this candy goes well with a cup of coffee—which offsets some of the sweetness.
When Can I Grab a Bar?
This berry delicious limited-edition flavor will be available starting in April. You’ll be able to get 1.5-ounce standard bars, 3-ounce king bars and .49 ounce snack size bars. Retailers nationwide will have these available, so keep a close eye out. Just remember, this is a limited-edition flavor, so don’t take any chances! Grab a few bags while supplies last…one certainly won’t be enough!
