You Can Get Movie Tickets for Just $5 at AMC on Tuesdays

This should make it easy to bring the whole family!

Even before the pandemic, going to the movies was pricey. But if you’re ready to finally see Top Gun: Maverick or take the kids to Minions: The Rise of Gru, then you’ll be glad to know that AMC Theaters’ Discount Tuesdays are officially back.

What You Need to Know About the AMC Tuesday Discount

From now through October, members of AMC’s Stubs Insider loyalty program can get Tuesday movie tickets for $5 plus tax. That’s a pretty convenient excuse to see a movie, right?

Discount Tuesdays aren’t the only Stubs Insider perks. You can also reap benefits including a free refill on every large popcorn purchased and 20 loyalty points for each dollar spent. Once you tally up 5,000 points, you can trade them for a $5 reward on concession stand fare. Don’t forget to use this movie theater popcorn trick!

Discount Tuesdays and the Stubs Insider program were temporarily halted due to the COVID-19 outbreak, but as of July 1, they’re back. The Stubs A-List program, a monthly paid membership that lets you see up to 3 movies in a week, is back as well.

How Long Will the Deal Last?

If you’re ready to get $5 movie tickets or reap any of the Stubs Insider program’s other rewards, all you need to do is sign up. It’s completely free—not a bad deal for such a steep discount. But make sure you do it quickly—this offer is only good until the end of October.

Of course, you can always have a movie night at home—we fully embrace the homebody lifestyle. Whip up a batch of next-level flavored popcorn and enjoy one of our favorite food movies, like Mrs. Doubtfire or Ratatouille.
