You’ll only need Oreo cookies, baking powder and milk to make this Oreo cake. Even better? You don’t need to turn on the oven to pull it off. The cake is microwaved for just a few minutes, making for a fast and easy dessert. Enjoy it as-is, or make a quick chocolate ganache to pour over top. The chocolate ganache, along with crushed Oreos or chunks of additional Oreos, will make it look that much more impressive!

Ingredients

  • 28 Oreo cookies
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup milk

Directions

Step 1: Separate the Oreos

Twist each Oreo open and scrape the vanilla filling into a bowl. Set the filling aside.

Step 2: Crush the Oreos

Put the chocolate cookies in an airtight plastic bag. Use a rolling pin to crush the cookies into fine crumbs. Transfer the cookie crumbs to a mixing bowl.

Step 3: Mix the cake batter

Mix the baking powder, milk and vanilla filling into the cookie crumbs. Stir the mixture until smooth.

Step 4: Microwave the cake

Grease a microwaveable, silicone cake mold with oil or cooking spray. Cut out a round piece of parchment paper and place it in the bottom of the mold. Pour the batter into the mold and microwave the cake for six minutes. Let the cake cool completely before removing it from the mold.
