Pounded Nuts
Nuts bought in bulk are economical but aren't always chopped. Instead of cutting the nuts by hand, I put them in a resealable plastic bag, close it and use the flat side of a metal meat tenderizer to "chop" them. I continue pounding on the bag until the nuts are the size I need. —Anita Briner, Etters, Pennsylvania
