To keep salad greens and cut vegetables fresh, I put a paper towel with them in the plastic bag. It absorbs any liquid so my produce lasts much longer. —Sheila Rehagen, Long Lane, Missouri

When I don't have time to make icing from scratch, I blend a half can of chocolate frosting....
Flavoring extracts are difficult to pour from small bottles. So I use an inexpensive medicine....
