If you’re having a last-minute get-together, these appetizers can come together in a pinch. Each is ready in under 30 minutes, so you can entertain even surprise guests that show up on your doorstep!

Fancy-looking Sausage Wonton Stars are ideal when entertaining large groups. The cute crunchy cups are stuffed with a cheesy pork sausage filling that kids of all ages enjoy. "We keep a few in the freezer so we can easily reheat them for late-night snacking," says Mary Thomas from North Lewisburg, Ohio.

"Our pastor made Garlic Pizza Wedges for a get-together," shares Krysten Johnson from Simi Valley, California, "and my husband and I just couldn’t stay away from the hors d’oeuvres table." The cheesy slices taste great served warm, but they’re still wonderful when they’ve cooled slightly.

Originally, Cinnamon ’n’ Spice Pecans were used to top a salad, but Terry Maly of Olathe, Kansas adjusted the recipe so they could stand on their own as a snack. Cayenne pepper gives them a little kick, making the nuts a fun party starter or hostess gift.

For a warm, hearty snack with a bit of a kick, try Cheesy Beef Taco Dip. "It’s a hit with my family, and guests rave about it, too," says Carol Smith of Sanford, North Carolina. Ideal for parties, it makes a big potful. The only "utensil" you’ll need to serve it with is a brimming bowl of tortilla chips.

"I make Deviled Ham Stuffed Eggs once a month for a fellowship meal at church,’" says Margaret Walker from Pace, Florida. "I’ve yet to bring one back home!" Different from typical versions, these hard-cooked eggs get a subtle crunch from chopped veggies, and deviled ham adds zing.
