Did Halloween sneak up on you this year? No worries. Just turn to these recipes in a pinch. They're ready in a flash (about half an hour) and will have goblins of all sizes asking for more!
"Here is a simple snack mix I created on the spur of the moment," writes Barbara Roberts of Middleton, Wisconsin. "It's easy to toss together for a party or to package in individual bags for a fall bake sale."
"I serve mugs of this hot chocolate outside when the kids in our neighborhood go trick-or-treating for Halloween," says Suzanne Cleveland from Lyons, Georgia. "It's a nice change of pace from traditional candy."
This eye-catching punch is a Halloween tradition for Edie DeSpain of Logan, Utah. It's refreshing, frothy and quick to stir up with only five ingredients.
"After trying to make my own pies (and failing miserably with the crust), I decided to try something new with the same great pumpkin pie taste," notes Christy Johnson of Columbus, Ohio.
"Served open-faced, everyone can see slices of cheese cut into Halloween shapes topping the beef," says Darla Wester from Meriden, Iowa.
"This fun version includes crushed cream-filled chocolate cookies in the batter," says Jan Blue of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. "They're a double treat—like eating muffins and cookies at the same time. They're perfect for a children's party or treat day for school."
