Better Bread Butters and Spreads

"My family always requests this light, tender Sour Cream Lemon Bread with a hint of lemon and creamy lemon spread," says Barbara Strickler from Syracuse, Indiana. This loaf complements almost any meal. Serve slices with the creamy lemon spread for an early-morning treat or a late-night snack.

"The fresh herbs make a little of this butter go a long way—you’ll find you use less but still get great flavor," says Jill Smith from Irmo, South Carolina. "It’s also a wonderful potato topper."
