Ingredients

  • 24 milk chocolate kisses
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Confectioners' sugar

1 piece: 58 calories, 3g fat (1g saturated fat), 2mg cholesterol, 50mg sodium, 7g carbohydrate (2g sugars, trace fiber), 1g protein

Directions

  1. Place a chocolate kiss in the center of a wonton wrapper. (Keep remaining wrappers covered with a damp paper towel until ready to use.) Moisten edges with water; fold opposite corners together over candy kiss and press to seal. Repeat.
  2. In an electric skillet, heat 1 in. of oil to 375°. Fry wontons for 2-1/2 minutes or until golden brown, turning once. Drain on paper towels. Dust with confectioners' sugar. Yield: 2 dozen.

"this is a very simple and easy recipe i even had my 8year old cousion whom enjoyed putting them together help me make this one and they turned out perfect everyone that came over for Thanksgiving tried it and said they loved it so its a definant keeper for the holidays and since its simple enough to get the kids to help out with preparing it it will give them something to do while the adults are busily cooking the rest of the holiday feast"

"I made these for Christmas and you can store them in an air tight container for several days. When frying, I would suggest just a short time otherwise you lose the chocolate. Next time, I am going to try baking these. They were delicious."
