"I have made this candy many times. I go to a bulk food store and buy a bag of their red and green peppermint chips. This candy is so easy to make and your guests will love it. It's true, if you put the chips in too soon, they will melt and color the coating and spoil your presentation. Thanks for sharing"
"This is one Christmas recipe my family requests every year. It is really easy and is great to give out as gifts. I use the ribbon candy you find this time of year instead of the peppermint candy with great results!"
"I used this very recipe last year for x-mas. The recipe is very easy. I just wanted to add a few things about the way I made it.First off, I made it in the microwave. Next, I used Andes peppermint. I also allowed the mixture to cool, because I put the peppermint in my first batch and it melted. The presentation doesn't look so great with melted peppermint chips in it.That's my two cents, anyway!"
