If you're gonna do dessert, go all out. And if you're gonna go all out, these rich and gooey Broadway Brownie Bars are pretty much the perfect place to start. They're like a cross between a brownie and cheesecake, topped with marshmallows, chocolate chips, walnuts and a smooth chocolate frosting for good measure. In other words: They've got it all.
The recipe comes from Anne Frederick of New Hartford, New York, and for her work, she deserves a standing ovation. "I named these dessert bars for Broadway because they're a hit every time I serve them, she says. "I especially like to make these for the holidays, or for hostess gifts." And we wouldn't mind being gifted these decadent bars—they cover all dessert's delicious bases: creamy, gooey, chocolaty, nutty and sweet. Plus, with only 20 minutes of prep and 30 minutes in the oven, they're a snap to make and take to anything kind of get-together. Broadway Brownie Bars, take a bow.
