Reviews for Veggie Spiral Salad
"Similar to my Daughter-in-Law's recipe. She uses Ken's Lite Italian and adds chopped mini bologna sticks."
"Even the kids loved it"
"Great side dish for a barbeque, although I added a bit of salad Supreme spice. Yum! Guests and family really enjoyed it.(Edited for grammatical errors)"
"Use Gazebo Room Greek salad dressing. Much tastier."
"Great for a hot day like today. I only gave it four stars, because I didn't use the Italian dressing, I used Kraft's Coleslaw dressing, we don't care for italian dressing, and added smoked salmon to it. Next time I will use ranch. Use quite a bit more dressing than was called for."
"will be making again"
"This is delicious, really when subbing mozzarella cheese!"
"This turned out great, my wife and I loved it!"
"This was just okay. I think I would like to try this again and double if not triple the pasta. The dressing wasn't very flavorful either."
"I made this the other night, and my husband and I both loved it! I will add ham next time to make it more of a main dish. I'm getting ready to send the receipe to my children I know they'll like it too. Will definitely make this again!"
"quick and easy to make, family loved it. Added ham chunks to have a full meal. Will keep this menu for hurry-up meals and church suppers."
"Woohoo! Another recipe that my husband likes! This salad is perfect for hot summer days. The crunchy veggies combined with the tricolor spiral pasta has a nice texture and visual appeal. I love being able to use olive oil in the dressing. With fresh garden tomatoes, it is great! This one is going to the next potluck!"
"Used extra sharp cheddar cheese in place of Swiss cheese. Excellent"
"I haven't tried this recipe, but might. My family makes a similar salad with ham & cheddar cheese chunks, radishes, onions, carrots, celery, pepper and garlic powder (season to taste), but we put Marazetti's Southern Slaw dressing on it. If you don't like the italian, you might want to try that."
"Great for the summer. I served it over some lettuce just picked from my garden. The colors are wonderful. I used just a little bit of bottled Italian dressing instead of a mix. Definitely will serve again."
"I probably won't try this recipe again. We weren't crazy about the italian dressing taste."
"I love the "make ahead" aspect of this. Really helps on busy days."
"I have madeed it using parmaigiano about a 1/4c and bottle f/f Italian dressing and it is better the next day"
"Oops, I also meant to give it 5 stars..."
"I have made different versions of this salad for many years. It is always excellent. It's good with different kinds of cheese (we like cheddar and provolone) and salami if you are meat eaters. Also artichoke hearts, hearts of palm, green and red peppers are excellent. Top with grated parmesan. The possibilities are endless!"
"This is an awesome salad recipe. I make mine with shredded carots and chuncks of velveta cheese( or shredded),also. Love it!!"
