"Made this last night and the whole family loved it! Great flavor and very easy. I ended up not having any fresh tomatoes, so I drained a can of diced tomatoes and tossed those in. It still came out great."
"Great recipe. My husband loved it. The only thing I did different was the cheese. I used low fat Mexican blend."
"Loved this recipe although it was a little soupy. I will probably keep everything the same next time but up the bowties to 2 cups."
"I substituted extra Italian and seasoning in place of the chili powder & it was excellent!"
"Kids loved it and me too. Will do it again, first time I was cooking with Zucchinis and the kids loved it"
"The seasoning in this receipe is so good and it's such a verstile dish. I used the veggie spiral pasta (that's all I had) and used carrots, corn, green beans and peas in place of the zuchini or squash, as my husband won't eat them."
"I made this with canned tomatoes and greenbeans instead fo the zucchini...no one here like zucchini."
"My husband and daughter love all the flavor with this meal and I appreciate the 1 pan needed to cook it up!"
"THIS WAS GREAT. MY HUSBAND LOVED IT TOO. I NEVER MEASURE OUT VEGETABLES, I ADDED A WHOLE BELL PEPPER, ONION, AND ZUCCHINI,AND IT CAME OUT GREAT. THANKS FOR SHARING THE RECIPE."
"Very good! I used ground turkey. I love one dish meals!!!"
"I always modify recipes to fit what I have and to our tastes. I could not find any zucchini in the stores so I left it out. Instead of garlic powder, I added minced garlic to taste and I also added 1 tsp of cumin. I never add salt to a recipe so that was left out as well. This is a very flavorful recipe. We never have leftovers when I make this."
"Re: Vegetable Beef Bow Tie SkilletThis recipe is great! My wife loved it! It is simple and fresh and healthy. I am going to suggest to all my friends.Paul"
"I'm the queen of changing recipes slightly when I don't have the exact ingredients. I swapped out the yellow pepper and zucchini for a 2 cup mix of celery, red pepper, fresh mushrooms. I cooked the celery with the ground beef so it could get softer. The 2 cups of chopped tomatoes I used 2 14oz cans of diced tomatoes/drained. I added more cheese to make it more cheesy to our taste. The seasoning in the original recipe listing is what makes this all work well together! It's fabulous!"
