Turkey Sloppy Joes Recipe

"This is a wonderful sandwich for family meals or parties," writes Sue Ann O'Buck of Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. Once the meat is browned, the mixture simmers for just 10 minutes, so it's perfect for spur-of-the-moment backyard picnics.

"This is one of my familys' favorites. I always use extra lean (99% lean) ground turkey as I think it tastes much better. I make four or five batches of this and freeze the extra in quart-size freezer bags. Not only is this good on buns but it's good over a lettuce salad."

"I always add my own homemade BBQ Sauce"
