"These ended up very gooey and moist, couldn't hardly pick one up to eat it. They were also very sticky. The flavor was ok, but I won't make them again."

"Try this recipe with spice cake, butterscotch pudding and butterscotch chips. Very good. Also, use one cup chopped nuts and one cup chips and try peppermint or peanut butter chips for a different flavor."

"I actually had prepared this recipe when it was first featured in Taste of Home. I did prepare this recipe again and I did adjust it-I'd used BROWNIE mix, rather than a cake mix! I also DID do the following adjustments by: using one 3.9-oz package of BROWNIE mix, 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract,

1 packet cappuccino mix, 1/4 cup chocolate syrup, 2 eggs, 1/3 cup OIL, 1/3 cup MILK instead of the water called for on the brownie package and 1/8 cup all-purpose flour to mix in with the 2-cup amount of chocolate chips! I used a greased and floured 13x9x2" baking pan, rather than a 15x10x1" pan! I baked a total of 35 minutes-30 minutes, tested the brownies and then baked 5 minutes longer as the tester came out a LITTLE bit sticky!
I feel that by making my adjustments, this recipe worked VERY WELL! I DO use a number of different brownie recipes from Taste of Home! But this certainly will be a recipe I can turn to!

Oh my, between my Mom and myself we ate almost the entire pan over the weekend! Cannot just stop at one! Yummy will make again and again and again....."

"I agree with conshanty - this is not really a brownie. While it tastes good and everyone at my husband's work loved them, they are too moist to eat as a bar, you need a plate and fork. And they don't taste like brownies; brownies have their own distinctive flavor."

"By mistake I used a large box of pudding, and only 1 cup of chocolate chips. They turned out great, almost like a molten lava cake. Great with ice cream or cool whip!"

"Just OK. Decent taste, but somewhat artificial tasting. Moist, but more sticky and pasty, rather than gooey or fudgy. My son said it was good, but didn't really qualify as a brownie. I'll stick to my regular recipe."

"I made these to take to a church picnic. They tasted great but were much gooier than the picture - I think I'll halve the amount of choc chips next time. This is a terrific recipe for a party or Potluck - very easy and the brownies come out moist and tender. I used one of these new-fangeled double-bottom baking sheets, lined with a new Reynolds Wrap product which is foil on one side and parchment paper on the other so I didn't have to grease my new pan, which came with its own lid - perfect!"

"Just wanted to say that I have made these brownies MANY times and I requests for them all the time. They are simple to make and I usually have the ingredients in the pantry. I do sometimes reduce the chocolate chips just a bit (I am not a chocolate lover myself) and sometimes add walnuts. Have never added ice cream though! This recipe gets passed on to many! Enjoy!"
