"I really like this cranberry sauce recipe, but I will doctor it up a bit next time though. It setup more like a stiff jello this time and I would the next batch to be a bit looser. I am going to add chopped walnuts, crushed pineapple and celery to it."

"One of my three favorites! I make a few sauces for Thanksgiving because I can never decide which I like best. {grin} This one has great flavor and I love the contrast of the fresh berries with the dried berries. I've gotten in the habit of subbing apple cider for the orange juice and skipping the extra zest, but my first time time around I did stick to the recipe and it's quite good that way, too. For the concentrate, I use a Cran- Pomegranate blend because my store usually doesn't stock straight cranberry."

"I love making homemade cranberry sauce and seeing the fresh cranberries "pop" is fun! This is a great recipe; I did not use the dried cranberries and used the "light" cranberry juice to reduce the sugar.....the result was delicious! The marmalade thickens the sauce nicely and the oj adds another layer of flavor. I was never a fan of the "canned gel" sauce growing up; and after making homemade I know why it never looked appealing!"

"Re freezing recipe: my friend's dad has a gourment food business and loads her up with whole cranberry sauce, which she and fortunate friends :) freeze. It comes out great when thawed and served at room temperature. Just give a stir or two to recombine any separation. If you like nuts in yours, I would wait and add that the day of serving to keep the nuts from getting soggy."
