Trail Mix Recipe
With nuts, raisins, M&M's and coconut, this is a super snack. In small gingham bags, it made wonderful party favors for each guest at the cowboy-theme wedding shower I hosted. This mix is a tasty treat anytime. -Sandra Thorn, Sonora, California
TOTAL TIME: Prep/Total Time: 10 min. YIELD:48 servings
- 2 pounds dry roasted peanuts
- 2 pounds cashews
- 1 pound raisins
- 1 pound M&M's
- 1/2 pound flaked coconut
- 1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Store in an airtight container. Yield: 6 quarts.
1 serving (1/2 each) equals 321 calories, 23 g fat (6 g saturated fat), 1 mg cholesterol, 294 mg sodium, 25 g carbohydrate, 3 g fiber, 9 g protein.
