"Made these yesterday for a dinner party and they were delicious. Rave reviews from everyone. Although they were sweet there was a nice balance of flavor. I also added whole pecans to the top and they elevated the overall bar. Yummy...can't eat more than two...but you don't need to because they are so satisfying."

"These were declared by my husband to be THE BEST. High praise indeed as he is my official taster. I did not have milk chocolate toffee bits so I used butterscotch bits and chocolate chips combined. They looked lovely, cut beautifully, and tasted fabulous. Thank you. We will be making these many more times."

"Very disappointing results for the cost of the ingredients involved. Had a very lukewarm response to these at a church pot luck - won't make again."

"Just want to add my five stars to this outstanding recipe. I followed the recipe to a "T" and cannot begin to tell you how much they were enjoyed. They were easy to prepare and super easy to eat and enjoy. The only problem...they do not last long enough. Will definitely be making these often."

"Just had to try this after all the great reviews. Was a little worried when I made the crust as it seemed very powdery but the butter melted and the powdered ingredients all stuck together. Definitely a recipe to make again and again. Even my picky teenagers all liked it"

"Very good bars. I used regular cream cheese in mine and ended up adding another 1/4 cup butter to the crust- it was so dry there was no way it would bake and hold together. It turned out great. I also only had plain toffee bits- I think they taste very good but using the chocolate covered bits would make them even better."

"This is one of the best desserts I have ever tasted. They say this recipe is supposed to be 30 servings ... THEY LIE. I gave four measly pieces to my friend and kept the rest for my son and me. We could not stay out of these bars. Finally I looked at the pan and had to go ask my son if I had really eaten that many, or had he been into them as well. He said "Mom - those are so freaking good I can't stay out of them. I have eaten a lot." Between the two of us, we finished the entire pan of "30 servings" in about 3 days. That should say two things to you. First, they are excellent bars. And second, make these at your own risk ... they are addicting!!!"

"Not sure what I did wrong...followed the recipe to a T! My crust is thicker than the topping. I used a Pan, instead of a Dish....did I need to use Glass??? I will make this again, because it does taste good....but pretty thin bars. Made again in glass pan....Excellent! !! Our favorite dessert ever!!! I make a pan, cut them up and keep in the freezer."
