Reviews for Thanksgiving in a Pan
"Very good and easy. My husband requested this for his birthday dinner over his favorite unstaffed cabbage. So we're calling it "Celebration in a Pan". I can't wait for our grown son and his wife to try it."
"This was soo good! With this dish, you can have a nice Thanksgiving meal any time of year, and in fact, one of my girls remarked that we should just make this for Thanksgiving! As suggested by another reviewer, I added some french fried onions during the last few minutes of baking and they were a really nice addition. Served it with some cranberry sauce for a nice hearty winter dinner. Unfortunately, there were no leftovers:("
"I chose this casserole for a weeknight dinner because of its simplicity and convenience and didn't think it would be anything more than OK, but to my surprise, my husband and sons scarfed it up! They praised it enthusiastically! I guess everyone just loves those Thanksgiving flavors. To make it even more like Thanksgiving, I added a thin layer of jellied cranberry sauce between the turkey and beans because I love the mixture of cranberry sauce with turkey gravy. Next time, I will take the suggestion of EGoelle and sprinkle french-fried onions on top. Great comfort food - I will be making this regularly."
"This was very easy and tasted just like each of the items made separately. It feels like I'm cheating, but that's ok by my husband."
"I have used this recipe many times. If I have leftover stuffing or gravy I use those. My family prefers the taste of canned beans over the frozen. I usually sprinkle french fried onions over the top during the last 5 minutes of baking. Yum!"
