  • 4 beef tenderloin steaks (4 ounces each)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

1 steak with 1/4 cup topping: 387 calories, 28g fat (16g saturated fat), 114mg cholesterol, 378mg sodium, 3g carbohydrate (1g sugars, 0g fiber), 30g protein .


  1. Sprinkle steaks with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add steaks; cook 4-6 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 145°; medium, 160°; well-done, 170°).
  2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix cream cheese, Parmesan cheese and horseradish until blended. Serve with steaks. Sprinkle with parsley. Yield: 4 servings.
