  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 3/4 cup half-and-half cream
  • 8 cups torn salad greens
  • 6 Jones Dairy Farm Dry-Aged Bacon strips, cooked and crumbled

Nutritional Facts

3/4 cup: 115 calories, 5g fat (2g saturated fat), 15mg cholesterol, 101mg sodium, 15g carbohydrate (13g sugars, 1g fiber), 3g protein.


  1. In a jar with tight-fitting lid, combine the sugar, vinegar and water; shake until sugar is dissolved. Add cream; shake well. Just before serving, toss greens, bacon and dressing in a large bowl. Yield: 8 servings.

"I did not care for this at all,. However I did appreciate it as it is no sodium recipe. I am always searching for no or low sodium recipes these day's. I won't be making this one again."

"I was hesitant to try this because it smelled way too "vinegary" for my tastes. However, I went ahead and ate it and it was so good! I didn't add the bacon, but did add cheddar cheese. I will definitely be making this again! So glad I tried it!"
