Streusel Coffee Cake Mix Recipe

Streusel Coffee Cake Mix Recipe

I prepare two different mixes—one for the cake and one for the topping—to make this sweet breakfast treat. I often give these mixes as fun holiday gifts. Along with the recipe, I usually include a cake pan, wooden spoon and festive dish towel. —Barbara Stewart, Portland, Connecticut

"I liked this so much I will use it for future gifts. I like the idea of using cooked apples too. Will try that in the future. I think peaches may work well also."

"I simplified by using a frozen sweet bread dough. I only needed to let it thaw and rise and add the streusel. Family loved it served warm from the oven."
