Ingredients

  • 2 cups cubed seedless watermelon
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, halved
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cups ice cubes

Nutritional Facts

1 cup: 89 calories, trace fat (trace saturated fat), 0mg cholesterol, 3mg sodium, 24g carbohydrate (21g sugars, 2g fiber), 1g protein

Directions

  1. In a blender, combine the watermelon, strawberries, sugar and lemon juice; cover and process on high until smooth. While processing, gradually add the ice cubes; process until slushy. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 5 cups.

"Yum! We've made it twice and it tastes great. Be sure not to take too long adding the ice. (We did because my young daughter was helping) If you take too long it will be too watery."
